PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-invasive and simple method for evaluating cutaneous blood vessel functions regardless of an environment for measurement or a place for measurement and without requiring the subject to be placed at rest.
SOLUTION: It is discovered that the cutaneous blood vessel function can be evaluated by sampling keratin from the skin with a tape strip etc. and examining the mRNA amount corresponding to mitochondria electron transmitting genes and/or blood vessel growing factor genes contained therein. By the method, a skin sample in an optionally selected part can be non-invasively and easily collected regardless of the environment for measurement, and transient change caused by psychological and physical actions can be excluded. Further, the method has such an advantage that it is not necessary to move a special large-sized measuring device to the place for measurement.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
