<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in a fuel filter device configured such that a filter assembly having first filter layers is provided in a fuel flow path which leads from the inside of a fuel tank through a fuel pump to a fuel consumption unit and also such that, in second filter layers which form at least some of the first filter layers, the finest filter layer is disposed at the downstream-most position. <P>SOLUTION: An aggregation promotion section 24A for promoting the aggregation of dust in fuel by changing the direction or the speed of flow of the fuel is provided to a filter assembly 20A so that the aggregation of the dust in the fuel is promoted on the upstream side of at least the filter layer 22A which is the second finest filter layer among the second filter layers 21A, 22A, 23A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
