<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white organic EL device, which is improved in the light extraction efficiency in a wide wavelength region (i.e. wide band), and a method of manufacturing the white organic EL device. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an organic EL device 10 includes the steps of: forming a multilayered sheet having a heat-shrinkable base material, and a rigid layer provided on the heat-shrinkable base material; heating and shrinking the multilayered sheet to make a rugged pattern-forming sheet with a rugged pattern 20 formed on a face thereof; coating a transparent substrate 11 with an uncured hardening resin to make a hardening resin layer 12, and then hardening the uncured hardening resin while pressing, against the uncured hardening resin layer, the face of the rugged pattern-forming sheet where the rugged pattern is formed, thereby to transfer the rugged pattern of the rugged pattern-forming sheet to a surface of the hardening resin layer; and stacking, on the hardening resin layer 12, a transparent electrode layer 13, an organic layer 14 and a metal electrode layer 15 so that the geometry of the rugged pattern transferred to the hardening resin layer surface is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
