<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variation detection method of a network parameter for automatically detecting a change of a bandwidth of a network during using the network, and an iSCSI initiator. <P>SOLUTION: A network parameter variation detection part 4 transmits and receives data using a TCP connection formed in an iSCSI connection to measure a round-trip time of the data, measures the round-trip time plural times with the number of the TCP connections varied, calculates a network constant by a predetermined formula, and compares, using the calculated network constant, a variation amount of the round-trip time calculated based on the fixed connection number with a variation amount of the round-trip time measured based on the fixed connection number and if a difference thereof exceeds a predetermined range, determines that the network parameter has varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
