<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module that allows optical coupling of laser diodes with an optical fiber with an appropriate amount of adjustment allowance and achieves downsizing at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module 10 includes: first condensing lenses 18a to 18d for condensing light beams of wavelengths λ1 to λ4 respectively emitted from laser diodes 14a to 14d; a first multiplexing filter 21a for multiplexing the condensed light beams of wavelengths λ1 and λ3; a second multiplexing filter 21b for multiplexing the condensed light beams of wavelengths λ2 and λ4; a synthesizing filter 22 for synthesizing the light beam multiplexed by the first multiplexing filter 21a and the light beam multiplexed by the second multiplexing filter 21b; and a second condensing lens 19 for condensing the light beam synthesized by the synthesizing filter 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
