<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail server capable of delivering e-mails in an appropriate order based on e-mail size in a mail server for delivering e-mails. <P>SOLUTION: Processing to determine priority of an e-mail is performed on the basis of the size of the e-mail, and processing to store the e-mail in a spool area is performed in association with the priority of the e-mail.
