<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette that can properly align, while allowing a user to watch the alignment visually as it proceeds, the leading end of a plurality of targets to accommodated in a stacked state so that the targets can be fed in favorable conditions, and to provide a conveying device, a recording device, and a mechanism for aligning the targets. <P>SOLUTION: The cassette 20 is detachably attached to the conveying device, and can accommodate and stack thereon paper sheets P to be conveyed by the conveying device. The cassette 20 includes: a tilting member 43 used for aligning the paper tip end Pa in the conveying direction of a plurality of paper sheets P which are to be accommodated in a stacked state; and a displacement mechanism for displacing the tilting member 43 between the alignment position where the tilting member abuts on the paper tip end Pa in the conveying direction of the plurality of paper sheets P for alignment and the retreat position where the tilting member retracts from the conveying path of the stacked paper sheets P with respect to the conveying device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
