<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for improving dust collection efficiency by rectifying air which exits a dust collecting chamber and sucked by an electric blower and hence increasing suction efficiency of the electric blower. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a dust collection case; the electric blower 6; a double ring 41 serving as a duct for connecting a suction opening 6a of the electric blower 6 and the dust collection case; and an annular bridge 40a and a radiation bridge 40b, which are formed to divide a vent hole 40 open in a dustproof unit 7 where the double ring 41 is formed. The electric blower 6 is mounted such that the suction opening 6a opposes the vent hole 40. Then, a rectifying rib 42, where a part opposing the suction opening 6a in the radiation bridge 40b is raised toward the suction opening 6a while increasing its thickness toward the side of the suction opening 6a as compared with other parts is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
