<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate quantitative method for sol.Al in steel, which quickly and accurately measures the sol.Al, and a process operation method of the accurate quantitative method for the sol.Al in the steel. <P>SOLUTION: A spark discharge is created many times between a steel sample and a counter electrode in an inert gas atmosphere to obtain emission intensity ratios of aluminum and iron per discharge pulse. Next, the obtained emission intensity ratios per the discharge pulse are arranged in order from the lowest emission intensity ratio, and the emission intensity ratio in a fixed position is extracted as an sol.Al intensity ratio. Next, a frequency distribution map is drawn by plotting the emission intensity ratios per the discharge pulse on the abscissa and plotting frequencies on the ordinate, and the most frequent value of the emission intensity ratios is calculated from the frequency distribution map, and the sol.Al intensity ratio is corrected by formula (a sol.Al intensity ratio correction value)=(the sol.Al intensity ratio)×((the number of pulses in which the emission intensity ratios are two or less times as high as the most frequent value in all pulses)/(the number of all pulses)), and the sol.Al intensity ratio correction value is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
