<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit having an improved efficiency of heat exchange, by improving a wind velocity distribution of gas passing a heat source side heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 4 is arranged in the vicinity inside a housing 2. On the upper part of the heat exchanger 4, a flat heat transfer pipe 6 is inserted into a plate-like fin 5 while a gas flow direction downstream side of the pipe is tilted downward in a gravity direction by a given angle. In the lower part of the heat exchanger 4, the flat heat transfer pipe 6 is inserted into the plate-like fin 5 while a gas flow direction upstream side of the pipe is tilted downward in the gravity direction by a given angle. Consequently, the wind velocity distribution of the air passing the heat exchanger 4 is substantially evened up on all portions of the heat exchanger 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
