According to one embodiment, an aqueous inkjet ink includes a color material in an amount of 2 to 20% by mass of the total amount of ink, water in an amount of 41 to 70% by mass of the total amount, and a water-soluble organic solvent in an amount of 20 to 53% by mass of the total amount. The solvent contains a compound represented by the following general formula 1 which accounts for 20 to 50% by mass of the total amount of ink. When the amount of compound is equal to the amount of solvent, the total amount of solvent is the compound, and the sum of the amounts of the color material, the water, and the solvent is 100% by mass or less of the ink. Where, each of a, b, and c represents an integer of 1 or more, and satisfies 3≦̸a+b+c≦̸15. |
