PURPOSE: A light orientation illumination apparatus of a liquid crystal display device using a polarizer is provided to improve the distribution of polarizing angle by controlling the orientation direction of a light orientation illumination apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A condenser(704) condenses the light of a lamp(702). A fly eye lens(710) makes the uniform illuminance of condensed light. A band pass filter(712) passes through necessary light. A collimation lens(714) corrects light. A polarizing unit(716) polarizes the light. A pair of spherical mirrors(724, 726) is oriented in order to control the magnification of an irradiating area.
