<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph seal creating apparatus, a control method thereof, and a program that are capable of easily pasting an editing combined image at a predetermined position in an image to be edited, and providing an edited image having a high perfection level. <P>SOLUTION: A design image 417-a is included in an editing image (photographing combined image) displayed on an editing image display portion 403-1 on an editing screen on which a user performs an editing operation on a photographed image obtained by photographing the user as a subject. When the user selects and moves a fitting stamp 418-a to the vicinity of a corresponding design image 417-a, display control is performed so that the fitting stamp 418-a moves to the position of the design image 417-a and is pasted thereon.
