<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of improving accuracy of illuminance measurement while securing designability of a lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 is provided with a lighting fixture 11, an illuminance detection part 14 for detecting illuminance of an irradiated surface of the lighting fixture 11 and a control part for controlling a light output of the lighting fixture 11 so as to nearly match an illuminance detection value detected by the illuminance detection part 14 with a given illuminance target value stored at a memory part.
