<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharging apparatus which enables a sacrifice discharge for stable discharging without moving from a specified position requiring a discharge of a liquid and quick operations from the sacrifice discharge to the liquid discharging as a series, and to provide a liquid discharging method using the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid discharging apparatus includes a liquid discharging unit having a nozzle portion, a lifting means of moving the nozzle portion up and down and a sacrifice discharging means. The sacrifice discharging means has a sacrifice discharge surface receiving the sacrifice-discharged liquid, and the sacrifice discharge surface is arranged in front of the discharge port of the nozzle portion in the initial state. Interlocked with the descending of the nozzle portion, the sacrifice discharge surface of the sacrifice discharging means is retreated from the front of the discharge port of the nozzle portion. Interlocked with the ascending of the nozzle portion, the sacrifice discharge surface of the sacrifice discharging means is returned to the front of the discharge port of the nozzle portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
