<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which can fix the document cover to a device body without user's manual operation, so that while increasing user's convenience, the document cover is surely fixed even when a user forgets to fix the document cover to the device body, thereby, avoiding hindrance at carrying the image processing device and damage on the document cover. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 with an openable/closable document cover 13 to hold documents, which disposes a device body 10 on a placement surface at usage and is carried off the placement surface at carrying, includes a lock mechanism part 50 which keeps the document cover 13 in a closed state by separating the device body 10 from the placement surface, and releases the closed state of the document cover 13 by disposing the device body 10 on the placement surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
