摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and cycle characteristics of a lithium ion secondary battery having a negative electrode supported on a surface of a negative electrode collector and including a plurality of columnar bodies made of alloy-based active material. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery 1 includes the negative electrode 11, a positive electrode 12, a separator 13 interposed between the negative electrode 11 and positive electrode 12, and a nonaqueous electrolyte.
