POLYURETHANE FOAM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam that can be used as a water-impermeable joint.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a water-impermeable flexible polyurethane foam that is obtained by reacting a polyol component containing at least one kind of a hydrophobic polyol, with a polyisocyanate component in the presence of a foaming agent. This invention is characterized in that it has a compression strength of 12 kPa or less for the 50% compression. The foam has a density of advantageously 150 kg/m3or less and of preferably 60 kg/m3. This foam can be obtained by a method for manufacturing a couched foam or by a molding.
