CONNECTOR AND LIGHTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can be mounted on a circuit board without highly projecting from its one surface and can be arranged on its one end with an insulation property.

SOLUTION: A connector 27 is connected to a circuit board 23 and has an insulated housing 41 mounted on one end of the circuit board. The housing is provided with a conductive contact 42 shaped along the housing. The housing includes: first and second portions 51 and 52 which are provided on its both faces so as to be opposed to each other when the connector is mounted on the circuit board; and a coupling part 54 which couples the first and second portions to each other. The contact is insulated from the circuit board at the coupling part and is exposed at the first portion so as to be in contact with a surface of the circuit board.
