<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective uniform light guide device having a micro-structure, and a backlight module and a liquid crystal display having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective uniform light guide device equipped with a micro-structure uses a side face light source and is installed in a liquid crystal display as a backlight module. The reflective uniform light guide device includes a light guiding layer and a reflection layer. The light guiding layer has a light incident surface and a light outgoing surface installed and the light incident surface makes light emitted from the side face light source to enter into the light guiding layer, the outgoing surface and the incident surface are positioned perpendicularly, and at least one part of the light in the light guiding layer is emitted from the outgoing surface, while the reflection layer can reflect light in the light guiding layer to the light guiding layer. The reflection layer and the light guiding layer are extrusion molded integrally and there exists no air interface between the reflection layer and the light guiding layer. A reflection surface is defined between the light guiding layer and the reflection layer and a solid micro-structure is installed on the reflection surface. Thereby, the light guide device has advantages such as improved light utilization, uniformity of emission light, increase in brightness, cost reduction of the backlight module, and unnecessity of a prism module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
