<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, an image processing program and an imaging device suitable for generating an output image having a different gradation characteristic by converting luminance information of an input image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 20 includes a photometry unit 25 and an HDR mainline processing unit 26. In the photometry unit 25, a histogram is generated from pixel data S2 obtained by imaging in a short exposure time T2 shorter than a normal exposure time T3, it is determined whether a contrast ratio of the captured image is high or low based on the histogram, and a level correction control parameter for controlling the characteristic of a luminance level correction gain used in converting a luminance of HDR color image data is generated based on the determination result. In the HDR mainline processing unit 26, an LUT corresponding to the parameter is selected from plural kinds of conversion LUTs having a characteristic for more suppressing a gain in a low luminance part as the contrast ratio is higher, and the luminance of the HDR color image data is converted with the selected LUT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
