<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an instrument for successively sampling, diluting and dispensing a minute specimen, in which a capillary is used as means for sampling a minute specimen of about 1 to 50 μL, a holding part is attached to the capillary to quickly sample the specimen without touching a fixed amount of specimen with a hand and the specimen can be diluted and directly dispensed into a measuring instrument or a measuring chip. <P>SOLUTION: In the method and instrument, the holding part having separative or soft metal wire is attached to a part of the capillary, while holding the holding part with a hand, a tip of the capillary is brought into contact with a specimen such as blood and a tear liquid to sample a minute and fixed amount of specimen due to capillary phenomenon, the portion of the capillary holding part is separated, only the portion of the capillary is inserted into a soft synthetic resin container which is separately prepared and stores a fixed amount of diluent or inserted together with a metal piece, the specimen is agitated or pumped to discharge and dilute the specimen, and by pushing the body of the synthetic resin container, the diluted specimen can be directly transferred to a measuring instrument or a measuring chip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
