PURPOSE: An electric gate latch system is provided to operate a latch to be open or closed by delivering torque of a motor to a clutch and a gear. CONSTITUTION: An electric gate latch system comprises a latch lever(110), an open lever(120), a gear(130), one-way clutch(140), and a motor(150). The latch lever comprises the latch pin to rotate the latch and is connected to the latch. The open lever is installed in order to disconnect a latch and a ratchet. The gear is located to rotate near the latch pin and the open lever. One-way clutch is gear-combined in the gear and delivers torque in the forward rotation under a load condition. A one-way clutch revolves counter-clockwise under a non-load condition. The motor rotates the one-way clutch. |
