PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system, securing convenience of a user without degrading security as much as possible when authentication based on formal authentication information is temporarily disabled. SOLUTION: According to this information processing system, a temporary authentication information is issued for a user, either a predetermined formal authentication information or the issued temporary authentication information is received from the user to authenticated the user based on the received authentication information. When user is authenticated based on the temporary authentication information, it is determined whether or not the processing request from the user can be performed or not based on the processing execution right with limitations compared to when the user is authenticated based on the formal authentication information.
