PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional drum sensor or toner sensor is connected to an engine controller, and in a sleep mode, a power supply of the engine controller is turned off, and if a drum or a toner is substituted in the sleep mode, calibration is not executed after rebooting, so that a connection target of the sensor should be switched from the engine controller to a formatter in the sleep mode.
