<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer film, which can reduce a work load in film formation, is substantially optically isotropic with little optical anisotropy, and can inhibit optical unevenness in a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer film contains a thermoplastic polymer that can be formed into a film by a solution casting method and a polyester-based oligomer having a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 10,000 and having a repeating unit comprising a dicarboxylic acid and a diol. The polymer film is characterized in that: the dicarboxylic acid that constitutes the polyester oligomer is at least one dicarboxylic acid selected from an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 2 to 20 carbon atoms and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid having 8 to 20 carbon atoms; the diol is at least one diol selected from an aliphatic diol having 2 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkyl ether diol having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and an aromatic ring-containing diol having 6 to 20 carbon atoms; and the polyester-based oligomer is included by 30 mass% or more with respect to the thermoplastic polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
