<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay capable of reducing the noise and vibration when it is turned off without affecting the operation characteristics during ON- or OFF-period. <P>SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic relay, a movable iron core 4, which controls the attachment/detachment of a movable contact 5 to/from a fixed contact 6, is divided into a base part 4A which is affected by spring force of a return spring 7 and a movable part 4B which is provided separately from the base part 4A. When the electromagnetic relay is turned on, the movable part 4B integrally moves in the axial direction with the base part 4A by the excitation of a coil 2 so as to be attracted to a fixed iron core 3. When the electromagnetic relay is turned off, the base part 4A alone is moved and opened by the spring force of the return spring 7 whereas the movable part 4B moves freely, thereby causing a time difference in a movement timing of the base part 4A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
