<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible both the sure restraint of the progress of oil dilution and an improvement in fuel consumption efficiency, in an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device of the internal combustion engine 2 includes a filter 60 for collecting particulate matters in exhaust gas, a storage means 95 for storing actual result data on the past operation state and filter regeneration processing, an oil dilution degree predictor calculating means 70 for calculating an oil dilution degree predictor by using the past data stored in the storage means 95, an oil dilution degree predictor determining means 80 for determining whether or not the oil dilution degree predictor is larger than a threshold, a first regeneration means, a second regeneration means in which an oil dilution quantity is small and the fuel consumption ratio is high by the first regeneration means, and a selecting means 90 for selecting the first regeneration means when determining that the oil dilution degree predictor is the threshold or smaller and selecting the second regeneration means when determining that the oil dilution degree predictor is larger than the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
