摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further shorten a braking distance although, in a conventional anti-lock brake device, when the brake is applied and a tire is locked, hydraulic pressure is released, the brake is brought into a non-applied state, and the tire is rotated, and, when this operation is repeated about 10 times in one second, tire does not rub only one portion but is averagely worn to shorten the braking distance while keeping a steering wheel effective. <P>SOLUTION: In this anti-lock device, a centrifugal pad (4a) of the brake portion (4) rubs a fixed portion (1) by centrifugal force to absorb rotating energy of the tire (5a). When the tire (5a) is locked, the centrifugal force is not effective, the centrifugal pad (4a) is not effective and the tire (5a) is not locked.
