<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination apparatus and a decontamination method of poisonous substances which hardly damages contaminated substances and a decontamination apparatus and can make the apparatus compact and a decontamination method. <P>SOLUTION: The decontamination apparatus 1 of the poisonous substances decontaminating the contaminated substances 2 contaminated with the poisonous substances under the reactive oxidant atmosphere has a decontamination chamber 3 accommodating the contaminated substances 2, an oxidant feeding unit 4 feeding an oxidant to the decontamination chamber 3 under the steam atmosphere, the additive feeding device 5 feeding the additive enhancing oxidizing power to the decontamination chamber 3, the circulation unit 6 for circulating steam in the decontamination chamber 3 to the oxidant feeding unit 4, and an exhausting unit for exhausting the inside of the decontamination chamber 3, the circulation unit 6 circulates the steam during decontamination processing, the oxidant feeding unit 4 is constituted so as to intermittently feed the oxidant such that the average concentration of the oxidant in the decontamination chamber 3 is constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
