<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the occurrence of a defect caused by a burr in cutting of a steel pipe or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the cut-off tool 21 having a plate-shaped metal base and a tip 23 joined to a distal end of the metal base, chamfer widths and chamfer angles of left and right chamfer parts 24A and 24B in the distal end of the tip 23 of the metal base are different from each other, and a cut-off surface is inclined, and therefore, the burr is generated on a cutting surface on a crop side (cut side) of the steel pipe during cutting of the steel pipe, and the burr is dropped together with the crop side part of the steel pipe, and the burr is prevented from being brought into contact with the tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
