<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sealing a gusset bag capable of solving a technological problem when the gusset bag is used as a packaging material, and an apparatus for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for sealing the gusset bag P is characterized in that a preliminary sealing process and a heat-seal process are continuously and as individual processes performed, and in the preliminary sealing process, at first, a pair of gusset panels P2 are pushed into the center of the gusset bag P, and next, folded gusset panels P2 are pinched to pinch a pair of main panels P1 to form a palm-jointing shape, and in this state, the palmed appropriate positions are temporarily welded to form a spot seal P4s, and upper part sealing parts P4 are preliminarily sealed, and thereafter, in the heat-seal process, the upper part sealing parts P4 are heat-sealed over the whole range by heat-seal blocks 723 of heat sealers 72 which are separately provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
