PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for adjusting output torque by adjusting intake timing, in a cylinder direct injection spark ignition internal combustion engine strengthening a tumble flow by using fuel injection. SOLUTION: The control system is provided with first and second timing fixation intake valves having fixed opening/closing timing. The control device is further provided with a timing variable intake valve arranged between the first and second timing fixation intake valves and having variable opening/closing timing. First and second intake ports are arranged to make a flow of air sucked in a combustion chamber via the first and second timing fixation intake valves form a tumble flow. An injector for injecting fuel to the direction strengthening the tumble flow is provided.
