<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing having improved waterproof characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 1 comprises a hollow shaped body 2 having an opening with a lid plate 3 attached watertight to it. The shaped body 2 has at least one end closing part 4 comprising a watertight sealing part 41 provided in an end of the shaped body 2. Especially, in order to improve the waterproof characteristic for electric enclosure by reducing the number of structural alterations to the housing as much as possible, a push-in member 40 is provided inside the sealing part 41, and the push-in member 40 is fitted into at least two of opposite side parts 71 to 76 of the sealing part 41 so that pressing force can be applied to a plate contacting side part 48 of the sealing part 41 provided adjacently to the lid plate 3 in order to operate in the transverse directions 92 and 93. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
