<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater position fixing device for a thickness measuring tool of a steel underwater structural material, for easily measuring thickness at a prescribed thickness measuring part on an underwater surface of the steel underwater structural material, without removing deposit stuck to the steel underwater structural material when measuring the thickness for the repair and inspection of the steel underwater structural material. <P>SOLUTION: The underwater position fixing device for the thickness measuring tool of the steel underwater structural material includes: a measurement device storage body 1 which includes a body part storing the thickness measuring tool therein, a lid body part covering an opening of the body part, a cable 1c connected to the body part, and a pair of locking parts 1d to be used when fixing a position underwater, and for which the specific gravity of the whole is 1.2 to 1.6; and a position holding body 2 which includes a pair of aluminum rail materials 2a longitudinally installed along the steel underwater structural material Y, a pair of clamp parts 2b to be fixed to the steel underwater structural material Y, and receiving parts 2c for locking the locking part 1d of the measurement device storage body 1 formed respectively at every prescribed interval in the longitudinal direction of the respective rail materials 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
