<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulp slurry cleaning filtration device capable of separating solid contents from a liquid papermaking stock mainly consisting of pulps. <P>SOLUTION: An outer tank drum, which surrounds an inner tank drum, comprises a hollow cylinder having an ability of blocking water. A cylindrical main body comprises the inner and outer tank drums that are disposed in concentric circles. A cylinder vat contains a liquid in the gap between the outer circumferential wall of the cylinder main body and the inner circumferential wall of the cylinder vat so as to reduce the load of the cylinder main body by means of buoyancy. A feeding device feeds a raw material and white water respectively from independent sources in the inner tank drum. The raw material, which consists of pulp slurry, is subject to the filtration process followed by the addition of diluted water and white water so that the raw material can be prepared in a predetermined concentration.
