A single-layer four-strand non-rotating steel wire rope consists of a core strand (2), which is an oil-polymer polymeric material formed by twisting and forging, and four independently-compacted outer-layer strands (1). The lay-length of each outer layer strand is 6.6-7.0 times its own diameter, and the lay-length of the complete steel wire rope is 8.6-9.0 times its own diameter. Stress concentration is reduced in the wire rope, thus ensuring service life, and the manufacturing cost is relatively low. Correct parameters are applied to ensure the anti-rotation performance of the rope is equal to that of a 35W×7 planar-contact steel wire rope. |
