A spindle motor is provided to reduce vibration and noise and lengthen service life by adamantly supporting a rotary shaft in a bearing. A spindle motor comprises a bearing housing(110) perpendicularly fixed to a base(100). The bearing housing is formed in a cylindrical shape and in the outer circumference of the bearing housing, a hanging hoop(113) of a ring shape is protruded to the outer side. A bearing(120) having the length corresponding to the bearing housing is fixed inside the bearing housing. A rotary shaft(130) is inserted into the bearing and is rotatably installed. In the bearing housing and the rotary shaft, a stator(140) and a rotor(150) are fixed. The stator comprises a core(141) fixed to the outer circumference of the bearing housing and a coil(145) which is wound in the core. The stator is arranged and fixed near the bearing housing.
