POINTING SYSTEM AND METHOD USING COORDINATE RECOGNITION FRAMES

Disclosed are a pointing system and method using coordinate recognition frames. The pointing method of the present invention is configured to display coordinate recognition frames for discerning coordinates of a pointing device on a display between image frames, and to calculate the coordinates of the pointing device by using the result showing that the pointing device has sensed the coordinate recognition frames. Thereby, the coordinates touched by a user are understood without a touch screen. Thus, since a touch screen panel is removed from a display panel, deterioration of brightness and a contrast ratio on the display panel can be prevented, and further manufacturing costs are reduced.
