FIELD: physics; measurement. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the technique of measuring variable and constant values of magnetic fields and can be used as the basis for design of magneto-optical devices. The method of measuring magnetic fields from electron-optical moir images involves fine alignment of distorted and undistorted images using an inhomogeneous magnetic field, and connection of a coil of a polar relay in the circuit, powered by a 32 Hz audio signal generator, controlled by an oscilloscope. In developing the proposed method of observing inhomogeneous magnetic fields, a circular coil with current, made from copper wire was used. Comparison of theoretical distribution of magnetic field strength of the test object and the experimental, obtained from processing moir images, showed that, divergence is not more than 5% in the whole range of current. This shows conformity of the moir image with the real inhomogeneous field and enables automation of the process of gathering information about the test object. ^ EFFECT: possibility of automating the process of gathering information about the test object. ^ 3 dwg |
