A signal generating method of a pattern signal generator using a memory is provided to shorten the downloading time by efficiently coping with the preparation of a test pattern. A signal generating method of a pattern signal generator using a memory comprises the following steps of: storing/outputting data for waveform output in a pattern generator which generates an arbitrary pattern signal; adding attribute data for the repetition of pattern generation; and using duration data as much as the waveform width of a pattern, counting the data, and maintaining the outputted waveform without increasing a memory address. |
