An embankment block and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve resistance against moisture, prevent contamination of river, and to help hydrophytes and fishes inhabit on the block. An embankment block(100) is formed in the shape of square plate. The block has a fish hole(112) formed from the front to the rear of the block, fish grooves(114) of semicircular shape which are curved toward the fish hole on the upper side, the lower surface, and both side surfaces of the block, coupling projections(116) formed on the upper side and one side not to interfere with the fish grooves, and coupling grooves(118) formed on the lower surface and the other side face corresponding to the coupling projections, avoiding interfering with the fish grooves. |
