PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal capable of making effective use of communication resources. SOLUTION: The available states of two or more operation modes can be switched in the mobile communication terminal. When a switching operation for switching the operation mode is received, a mode setting request for enabling communication in the mode after mode switching is transmitted to a communication control unit 3A on a communication network NW. The switching operation of the operation mode in a mobile communication terminal 2A and communication allowance according to the operation mode by the communication control unit 3A are performed in an interlocked way. Then, communication of the mode not in the available state from the communication control unit 3A can be avoided, thereby effective use of communication resource is realized.
