PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lattice reduction aided MIMO detector. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a lattice reduction aided MIMO detector for a packet based signal comprising a header and one or a plurality of data symbols. The detector comprises a pre-processing section for acquiring channel decoding information on the basis of channel estimation from the header; a storage means for storing the channel decoding information; and a data processing section for processing one or the plurality of data symbols with reference to the stored channel decoding information.
