FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device for cutting ribbon-like fragments of a cover into granules contains a conical-cylindrical roller with a circular cavity and disc shaped blades, the edges of which lie opposite the circular cavity of the roller. The blades are uniformly placed around the conical-cylindrical roller. The conical-cylindrical roller is put inside a cone-shaped cover with a gap between them, 5 mm more than the width of the ribbon to be cut. On the cone-shaped part of the conical-cylindrical roller, there are fingers, the working length of which of which is less than the gap between the cone-shaped cover and the cone-shaped part of the roller. ^ EFFECT: invention simplifies the process of cutting ribbon-like composite material, including metal cord reinforced material; increased output of the device due to increased number of cutting zones around the cylinder; reduced power input due to uniform distribution of the cutting zones around a circle; possibility of obtaining granules of different length. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
