<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable control valve type lead-acid battery capable of suppressing deformation of a battery jar due to a pressure rise in the battery without having an abnormal rise of the valve opening pressure of a safety valve, even if the battery is used at a high temperature for a long time. SOLUTION: A plug with a safety valve 10 is mounted to this control valve type lead-acid battery so as to block up an exhaust hole 18 provided correspondingly to a cell, and an discharge port 17 corresponding to the exhaust hole 18 is provided in the plug with the safety valve 10. An opening part 17b positioned opposite to the exhaust hole 18 in the discharge port 17 is blocked up by a flat rubber plate valve 12, and an interval 20 is provided between the exhaust hole 18 and the opening part 17b of the discharge port 17.</p> |
