A parapet is provided to perform assembly directly in the field while omitting a part of process of boring bolt holes, thereby improving work efficiency. A parapet comprises a plurality of pillars(100) installed on the ground at fixed intervals, decorative members(200) installed between the pillars, a bracket(300) consisting of a post joint(310) combined on both upper ends of the pillars and a connection part(320) extended horizontally from the pillar joint, and an upper rail(400) installed on the upper end of the pillar and connected to the bracket. The upper rail is composed of a main body portion(410), front and rear vertical portions(420,430) extended down at the front and rear sides of the main body portion, front and rear horizontal portions(440,450) horizontally extended toward the inner side of the main body portion at the front and rear sides of the main body portion, and front and rear fitting portions formed on the bottom of the front and rear horizontal portions.
