<p>The Lummer-Gehrcke-plate (1) has a dielectric elastomer (2), which is penetrated by radiation from a coupled light, and two electrodes (3,4) arranged on the opposite sides of the dielectric elastomer. The refractive index or the thickness of the Lummer-Gehrcke-plate is changed by applying electrical voltage to the electrodes. The material of the electrodes is selected from the group consisting of metals, metal alloys, conductive oligomers or polymers, conductive oxides and polymers filled with conductive fillers. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an interferometer.</p> |
