PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable ink composition for inkjet recording, having excellent curability and durability of a cured film, and further having excellent jetting stability, and further to provide a method for forming a color image by an inkjet method by which high precision printing on the surface of an ink-nonabsorbable material is made possible. SOLUTION: This ink composition for the inkjet recording, containing a coloring matter, an ultraviolet-curable composition, a photopolymerization initiator, and an organic solvent capable of dissolving the ultraviolet-curable composition is regulated so that the boiling point of the organic solvent may be within a prescribed range, and the weight ratio of the ultraviolet-curable composition to the organic solvent, and the content of the ultraviolet-curable composition may be each a prescribed value or more. The method for forming the image by an inkjet printer uses the ink composition. |
