PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent gas barrier film having an anchor coat layer and an inorganic oxide layer sequentially formed on at least one side of a substrate film which secures gas barrier properties without an increase in the thickness of the inorganic oxide layer, and a transparent packaging material using it. SOLUTION: A continuous inclined TEM image ( -60° to +60°, one-degree step) of the boundary between the anchor coat layer and the inorganic oxide layer is photographed, and image position correction is carried out by a Fiducial Marker method to obtain a three-dimensional reconstructed image. In the three-dimensional reconstructed image, the transparent gas barrier film shows surface roughness Rms in the boundary of ≤1.0 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
